EU-DK Support 25 November

 

November 25 focuses the eight programmes in the EU-DK Support network. The conference will provide an introduction to the different programmes, as well as discussions about European funding in general.   

                      

 

 

 

Horizon Europe 26 November

 

November 26 focuses Horizon Europe. The conference will provide an introduction to the different clusters and pillars in the programme, as well as discussions about European funding in general.           

                                                     

 

 

 

The Conference is online

 

The kick-off conference for new EU-programmes is an online conference. The conference is free, but registration is necessary. The conference takes place over two days: The first focuses on new EU-programmes in the EU-Support network and the second focuses on the research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe. Registration for the two days is separate. The kick-off conference is held predominantly in Danish.

In 2019 nominated to be European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. Before that European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society from 2017-2019. From 2009-2014 Member of the European Parliament. Vice-President of the EPP Group in the European Parliament 2014-2017. Vice-President of the EPP Women 2012- present. Master in Comparative Politics and International Relations, PhD Academy for Political Science, Bordeaux, France 2002-2003.

Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen

Minister for Higher Education and Science                                                                                                                                                 

 

                                       

 
Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen was elected to the Danish Parliament for the first time in 2011. She is a member of The Social Democratic Party. On June 27 2020, she became the minster for Higher Education and Science. Cand.scient.pol. from University of Copenhagen, from 2004 to 2009. Consultant in  Danish Confederation of Trade Unions from 2009 to 2011.

Simon Kollerup   

Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs.                                                                                                                                     

 

                                     

 
Minister of Business, Industry and Financial Affairs from June 27 2019. Member of the Danish Parliament for the Social Democrats, elected in North Jutland's constituency from 15 September 2011. Masters degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen from 2006-2011.

Connie Hedegaard

Chair of the board, CONCITO and Chair of the board of the Horizon Europe Mission ’Adaptation to Climate Change including Societal Transformation’                   


 
 
Connie Hedegaard is chair of the Horizon Europe Climate Mission board and was the first EU Commissioner for climate from 2010-2014. She has been the Danish minister for environment, climate and energy as well as Member of European Parliament. Besides a political career, Connie Hedegaard has been a prominent journalist.

Jacob Bundsgaard

Mayor of Aarhus Municipality and Chairman of the National Association and Interest Organisation of the 98 Danish Municipalities

 
 
Member of the Danish Social Democratic party since 1998. Elected member of Aarhus City Council since 2002. Mayor of Aarhus since 2011. In 2016 he was elected as the Vice-chairman of The National Association and Interest Organisation of the 98 Danish Municipalities, before being elected Chairman in march 2018.

Mette Fjord Sørensen

Director of Competences and Knowledge, Confederation of Danish Industry                                                                                                    

                                       

 
Mette Fjord Sørensen is the Director of Competences and Knowledge at Confederation of Danish Industry. She is educated in political science from Aarhus University and has formerly worked as the head of science and education at The Danish Chamber of Commerce.

David Dreyer Lassen

Chairman of the board, the Independent Research Fund Denmark                                                                                                                   
 

 
David Dreyer Lassen is chairman of the board in Independent Research Fund Denmark. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and now works as a professor at the University. In 2016, he received the Elite Research price by The Danish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Anders Overgaard Bjarklev

Anders Overgaard Bjarklev is an educated electronicengineer and dr.techn. from Technical University of Denmark. He has more than 25 years of experience with research and have been the president of the Technical University of Denmark.
